Dr. Douglas Beatty’s office has been recognized as a NCQA PCMH Level II. This is a paper-charting office, and it is so difficult for those offices to achieve this level, so we want to congratulate this office, Dr. Beatty, Norma Beatty, and Kim Hatfield on a fantastic job!
Dr. Beatty’s expertise is in the field of preventative medicine, preventing heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and disorders associated with obesity. He has a special interest in disorders of lipids and cholesterol as a sub specialty.
NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations and manages the
evolution of HEDIS®, the performance measurement tool used by more than 90 percent of
the nation’s health plans. NCQA recognizes the vital role clinicians play in advancing quality. The Recognition Programs were developed to help clinicians and practices support the delivery of high-quality care. The Recognition Programs are built on evidence-based, nationally recognized clinical standards of care.
“The right clinician can make the difference,” said Margaret E. O’Kane, President, National
Committee for Quality Assurance. “By earning recognition, Dr. Beatty has demonstrated that
he provides effective, evidence-based care to his patients.”
